Regional and comparative research projects: These initiatives focus on, but are not limited to, topics such as governance, political systems, migration and conflict studies, climate change and sustainability, disinformation and hate speech, Holocaust and Jewish studies, Central and Eastern European heritage and multiculturalism, as well as digitalization and AI-enhanced methodologies.
Research residency program: A one- to three-month residency designed for scholars and professionals from the region who are conducting research on Central and Eastern European issues or exploring career transitions within academia or policy-related fields.
Research workshops (Hackathons): Collaborative sessions that engage participants in exploring contemporary research questions through the use of large-scale digital datasets, while promoting innovative, data-driven approaches.
Short- and medium-term courses: Thematic academic modules designed around the Hub’s strategic areas of research, offering flexible learning formats and promoting interdisciplinary engagement.
Summer schools and joint intensive programs: One- to three-week programs that blend academic coursework with immersive cultural experiences, including heritage exploration throughout Transylvania.
Train the trainer programs: Specialized courses tailored for high school educators and professionals, aimed to enhance pedagogical skills and promote critical engagement with complex contemporary topics.

The Hub actively collaborates with institutions across the Central and Eastern Europe, including partners in Bulgaria, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Croatia, Greece, Hungary, North Macedonia, Poland, Moldova, Serbia, Slovenia, Slovakia, Turkey, and Ukraine, among others.
