Central and Eastern Europe is confronting significant challenges, ranging from geopolitical tensions and heightened security concerns following Russia's invasion of Ukraine, to political instability marked by threats to democratic governance, economic pressures, and growing demands of digital transformation.
In this context, FSPAC founded a regional studies hub focused on Central and Eastern Europe, aimed at fostering academic collaboration and research across five key areas: political science, public administration and governance, communication and advertising, journalism and digital media, and public health. The Hub will draw on the expertise of Babeș-Bolyai University and its global network of partner institutions, with a particular emphasis on collaboration within the CEE region.
CEERCH - the Central and Eastern European Research and Cooperation Hub at FSPAC addresses region-specific geopolitical, cultural, and social challenges through applied research, interdisciplinary academic dialogue, and international collaboration.
