I analyzed, together with my students, many significant transformations of cultural landmarks. I quickly came to the conclusion that nowadays, the media - both referential and its aesthetic genres - are gaining an increasing role in cultural transfer, so I focused my attention on studying the transmission of cultural references in different medium. My fields of research and teaching include both postmodern interactive digital media and aspects of contemporary popular media culture.
