Flavia Țăran is a lecturer at the Department of Journalism and Digital Media. She holds a BA in Journalism and a MA in Media Communication, during which she obtained a scientific performance scholarship for the study of meme aggregators. After finishing her master's degree, she worked as a layout designer for two years. In 2021 she received her Ph.D. in communication sciences with a thesis on memes and online phenomena. She was invited to hold lectures on memes in Vienna, Brussels, and Antwerp.
